My mother loved these colors, and she had pink throughout her whole kitchen and even used pink and apricot floral contact paper to cover her favorite cookbook! As I sat down to draw out these designs, my memories of her flooded my heart. Even though she died when I was just a teenager, I will forever be grateful for the time I had with her. She was a woman before her time and was loving, kind and creative.
